Well it's Thursday!

Hey Readers,

That's right, it's Thursday. :)  Last weekend I had a blast.  It was Coe night at the Roughriders, which is the Cedar Rapids Hockey Team.  That was a blast to see so many Coe peeps there!  This Friday is $5 Prom.  $5 Prom is an event put on my Lambda Chi and Alpha Sigma Alpha each year and you must spent less than $5 on you full outfit.  It's always fun to see what people find!  Then we have a dance on campus until 1am!  It should be an action packed night!  Tonight is the first game of the conference tournament for the Men's and Women's basketball teams.  It's a blackout event so I have my black shirt ready!  Next week is going to be crazy because I have three exams before heading off to Vegas for Spring Break but it will be a much need break to relax!  The weather is weird here!  One minuet it will be 40 degrees and the next its snowing!  I can't wait for it to be 60 degrees all the time!  But i better get to doing my homework so I can go to the game tonight!

Thanks for reading!

Recap

Hey Readers,

My weekend was amazing!  Friday night I went to Prez Ball, and had a blast!  I thinks its always fun to see your professors outside of class and get to know them better.  Tonight I got voted in as the treasure of Student Alumni Association.  This is a group of students on campus that connect with alumni of Coe for career advise as well as just have a fun time together!  I am very excited about this because I get to work with some amazing people and it will be one more thing for me to experience while I'm here at Coe.  This Saturday I am going to the Coe night at the Roughriders.  The Roughriders if the hockey team in Cedar Rapids.  I am very excited to go watch them as well as hang out with all the awesome Coe people that will be there!  Below you will find pictures from the Prez ball!  Thanks for reading!

See you soon,

Hello!

Hello Readers,

I hope everyone is having a great week.  I can't believe is already Thursday, where does the time fly?  This weekend is the Presidential Ball.  This is a big dance on campus put on by the president of the college and SO much fun!  It is always fun to have an excuse to dress nice and go out to eat with a group of friends.  This week I also booked my Spring break tickets and I'm going to Vegas.  It's crazy to think Spring break is only 3 weeks away.  Time always seems to fly in college because we are having the time of our lives.  I also got to meet Leonard Pitts, who is a famous writer across America today.  His speech on campus was amazing, and it was a pleasure to get to have dinner with him too. This week I also got together with all the brothers in my fraternity and we watched Tosh.0, this is always a fun time to relax and catch up.  Here is some pictures because I noticed I haven't posted any yet!

Until next time,

Great Week

Hey Readers,

I can not believe it is already February.  It has been nothing bust a great week here in Kohawk Nation!  The weather is beautiful and my first round of tests are almost over.  It's a great feeling when you get done with a test, kind of like a 1000 pounds taken off your chest.  What even makes it better is when you do an awesome job, it make you feel like the studying paid off.

Last night was my last senate meeting as student body president and was bitter sweet.  I am very excited to see what the new elects have in store for Coe, but I will miss it!  We had our first student nursing association meeting last night which went great.  We are designing appeal sell and hoping we can get Charlie the Kohawk in some scrubs!  We are also planning a trip over to St. Lukes Hospital to tour their ER and flight nurse services.  This is going to be a great trip because we will be able to see that field of nursing.

I am looking forward to next weekend because it is the Presidential Ball.  This is a big dance for campus where the President Phifer, the president of the college, puts on a ball for all of us students.  this is always a fun night because it gives us a reason to dress up night and dance the night away.  This weekend I have clinical and I am going to go for coffee with a friend I have not caught up with in a while.  I better go check my mail, who knows maybe I got a letter from my parents?! ;)

Until next time-
